Hi! So,
My first plan was to create a character that will be on the light side.
I decided that it will be an angel.
As an angel, he must be perfect in some way, so I started from "perfect skull" - thats my base for helmet / skull.
While drawing, I decided that angel will be black male - thats interesting combination of black and white in on character.

This is my first challenge in concept art so I will be more then grateful for all your comments and advice.

I see you only have a bit of the head piece designed so far, but I really love it! It's a super cool concept even at this stage! I can't wait to see where the concept goes!

My story happened in 1935 in harlem during the uprising.
This is only one photo I have found that shows legendary Harlem Angel captured by the army.
