If this is meant to be a start on your final illustration rather than just an early concept, you might want to extend the bottom a little. It's always awkward to cut a character off at the ankles and you've got a few tangents going with the bottom of the cape-thing.

Nice direction, you've got some really interesting shapes going.

Yes, the bottom is a bit cut because I'm not sure about the legs position and shape yet, the cape was not meant to go over the border too. Needs some fixes, heh.
