I understand what are you talking about. And I have the same feeling about her balance.

I spent a lot of time working on the position of the legs. And at the moment all my solutions to this problem I did not like.

I believe that the toe of the foot should be turned a little bit to the left.
Also, many problems can disappear with the appearance of shades. So I need to be careful with it. At this step of work some things can seem to me as a mistake when it is not.

Now I should to draw the dragon.

Great sketch you have here! Nicely detailed. I agree with @kimsokol about off-balance. Additionally I have my two cents about proportions if you don't mind. I know that real people are about 7 heads tall (even less sometimes), but I think in case of heroine that you have here, more heroic proportions (7.5 - 8 heads) could work better. Also her shin seems to be a bit too short. I know that there is perspective shortcut but I think it's not that much in this case.

Hello, Jonatan.

Thank you for the detailed feedback on my artwork.

I like more the 8-heads proportions too or even 9-heads. But it was a solid decision to make a 7-heads proportions (because of her story and role).

Maybe at painting stage I'll find some compromise.

WIP 4: before painting stage

Love how elaborate you are with your details, she looks tough! However, I do have to agree with @jonatan-moonchild here. I would agree with a 7 head perspective, but I believe the current composition makes it look like she is 6-6,5 heads tall. Just a thought! I really do love your overall composition and that she is cleaning her sword after killing the dragon. Love to see the progress!

Really good so far👍🏼 Especially the dragon.
Just a thought: maybe sword’s handle should be rotated more? (Sword lays on her leg more on the side, than on the edges) Because it looks for me that she might cut her leg a bit

I agree about the sword needing rotation because it might look like she is slicing her leg.

Nice work! I like the dark colors of the dragon. I think it wouldn't be bad to give your heroine some gold ornaments - it would look good against the dark wing. Anyway - keep it up!
