Hello everyone i found this challenge thanks to one of my teachers on collage, and i though it was a good idea to participate and learn more and improve my abilities!

here is the idea i got for the project!
im choosing the dark side with a mixture of the history of Scylla but more looking like a mermaid but instead of a fish tale i was thinking more like a squid/octopus looking one!

i made this mood board to work with!

I made some ideas of what i want, im currently thinking if i should ad the moray on her back or add them as pets or something

im getting back to work. making already some concepts more stylized

i ended up using the one with the eye instead of the coral,also merging the face to the eye making it look more like raw meat, i'm gonna start making some color test
