A late starter - and new to the forum, which is my only excuse. Ignorance isn't bliss when there's a contest this exciting going on.

Here's my very roughly sketched out dark knight of death and fear, who will in theory be riding a sort of dinosaur steed, and trampling in the blood of all of the Light armies he can find.

It looks exciting, but when this should be your concept sheet is it in the right size because it looks smaller?

Yeah, I don't think that will be my concept sheet. If anything it's an overgrown thumbnail. I need to figure out what's going to be on there. Here's some of my dinosaur. I'm keeping it simple because ... that's how I like beasts! (And, there isn't a huge amount of time to invent anything too crazy!)

Some work on the armor and character. Some ideas for him are coming through now. He's going to have scaly skin and dino claws.

Some more scribbling. I'm more of a painter, so I am trying not to jump ahead before I've got a a solid design, but it's hard!

Just colour testing today. Not sure if much is really going on with the character right now. Ironically, as this is a character based contest. I guess I'm just sitting and waiting for him to show up.
