This looks so great with the color and it's pretty strong already.
I have a lot of problems to go to this step. May you explain how you made the shadows? Did you paint over it with darker color or used separate shadow layer on multiply?

For sure @frankenstejin ,

first i put all the colors on the character, after that i create a multiply layer, than i select black color and paint in hard. I have chosen a top light source on this case, and paint the shadow in hard. Than i look for the areas that has cast shadows and maintain, area that has no cast shadow but the soft shadow i blur it, because the light fill that part instead of a projection of something, so change the opacity of the shadow, maybe 45%. After all i paint the smaller shadows of the intersections of the character, something like ambient occlusion. For the final, i put some light reflections.
I guess that is it. hahaha. You have a lot of ways to do the same thing, this way works for me.
Below has an example, maybe could help my explanation.

Wow ! Thank you so much for this rich explanation! I tried a similar way and I failed to do so haha I'll try to make it better next time. Do you overpaint the whole image after you're done with the shadows? (merge all layers in one and paint over it then?)

Yeah @frankenstejin , always have to fit something or fix. Isually merge the layers copying with ctrl+a => ctrl+shift+c => ctrl+shift+v , because sometimes the multiply layer merge with no parameters, so a take off all the backgorund and copy the image with transparent bg, than i have a full image with the parameters ona new layer.

I love how colorfull your work is!

Nice colors, and the rendering looks really solid. Can't wait to see the illustration for this one!

Hey guys! Another update, the back view !

Looking awesome bro, keep it up

the fight of the light against dark, i need it to put a dark presence to tell a story along the image, hope you are enjoying.

Love how you made some small alterations at the end with the back figure, it looks great
