References for Yuna's design. My conception is that her race is very similar to that of a succubus, but. . . more lovecraft inspired. Planning on a color palate that will use lot of indigo, purples, and bit of pink as a key accent color.
So once I came down with an idea, I began writing and drawing out my thoughts about the character. Simply put, very abstracted thoughts and thumbnail sketches before deciding how this character's design will be directed towards. The final sketch above of the Abysmal fiend floating over a Cthulu style eye, is the rough concept of what this character final illustration will be heading towards.
Rough Silhouette Design concepts for Yuna. Mixing ideas together for some interesting figure forms. I would love to hear from you all which concept silhouette you like the most, and I'll begin refining that into a proper character sketch.
