Hi all. Here are my concepts for my character. I will try and zero in on a definitive design within the next couple days. I'm going for a mixture of traditional warrior-esque silhouette with a more cyberpunk armor/weapon design (not so much that it looks too modern). Her companion is a hybrid wolf/owl (wolf part is more in the form of the body than anything obviously).

The theme of the owl is constant in the main character as well in part of her name (Aspect of Vigil) and her head armor. The character is also on the side of light.

Narrowed down her design a bit more. I feel I have enough to start sculpting. Some things may be simplified or made more complex accordingly.

Updating with the rough sculpt. As I expected I changed her silhouette along with some details on her armor. May still add/subtract things. For now moving along. Next is roughing the hair, and her companion before extracting/polishing her armor. Weapons will be last.

Started on my characters animal companion. Looking a bit like a pokemon, but its more or less where i want him design-wise.

Heres an update on the main character. Roughed the hair, and battle mask. Onto the detail pass.

Progress on the armor detail. Wont have much (if any) embroidery luckily. Learned a lesson to not spend so much time worrying about so many panels, but oh well. Some more minor details on other parts of her outfit and then onto her companion then topology thankfully.

Finally done with the high poly. The design (as expected) changed significantly as I was looking for more intricate and interesting shapes to build the silhouette. Now onto her companion, then weapons. (Note: the hair/eyebrows are clipping through areas that it wont be in the final render)

Update on the details on her companion creature. Aside from the fur/braids/ornaments there will be some light armor and saddle added. Once thats done, onto the weapons then low poly!

Done with the highpoly of the companion. Onto the sword and shield. Considering the deadlines closing in the sword/shield will need to be incredibly simplified.
