Just saw this contest through my e-mail and thought I'd try and enter.
I've always liked the idea of some "gentleman"ly character who contains a lot of power, like Pride from Fullmetal Alchemist
Obviously going to be a dark character 
, working in the shadows and with the shadows, the ultimate assassin.
I'll flesh out the details as time progresses.
