Light Side
Concept : Near Future setting , robots with AI are being a little naughty. Among a number of private companies making cyborg super soldiers to bring them down in unpleasant ways, one of them is Guardian , they named their units Guardian Angels , and showcasing their unit 001.

Brainstorming : light side -> angels -> but I didn't want to make just another pretty angel -> wanted some twist, funny or shocking -> why not some badass dude in mech armor -> the feel I'd be expecting/imagining would be some mercenary or old school soldier -> when you imagine angel Arnold Schwarzenegger would be the last image to pop up in your head

The drawing is a very rough concept , since I don't have much time ,I can't put one week for the concept designing. I'm gonna improvise and change the design as I see fit.

Planning : to have done all the 3D modelling done in one week , (I'm fairly confident and fast at retopo and UV) the texturing and rendering will take the most of the next week.

Some experimenting phases , used the zbrush basemesh and tweaked it to fit my preferable shape.
Yes I am going to upload a lot of ugly stuff , brace your eyes I guess xD

I really like the proportions you had in your sketch. It seems like a little bit of that was lost in the sculpt. Maybe you could push the proportions a little more to get it back to that point.
Also the helmet looks a little too bulky. It seemed more streamlined in your sketch.

oh boy oh boy , I delayed it too long without any update , I was caught up with Titanfall2(it had just arrived and I had myself hooked for 2 days , and then demotivated - fixed by some good music)

The sculpt is finally done and currently retopo-ing , here are the snaps.
Probably gonna go finish the fingers now.

planning to have the mesh low poly at less than 30k then gonna subdivide for final render.

thanks for the feedback i hope the final sculpt has the proportions I had planned.
And the helmet was a challenge , finally settled with more tactical vibed helmet

substance finally , trying to find the color theme.

I would suggest either making the pants black or blue, or keeping the color but turning the specular down.

I definitely like the pants and the arm a lot more. I'm not sure how much I like the pink lights though. Maybe it would fit in better if it were light blue like the helmet and glove?

This is coming together really well though. Keep it up, just a few more days!

yep I actually did change the reddish to a blue light. Now only posing and rendering left. *fingers crossed xD Hoping to get it done by sunday. ( and removing the helmet and gloves glow)
