I have finally decided on a name for my character. I am excited about this contest, but also worried. Still working on my sketch and I am hoping everything turns out well.

I did a rough sketch of my idea. I didn't want to spend too much time doing a neat and detailed sketch because I am pretty sure that I will make changes, and I need to spend more time on the actual character.This character is for the light category. It is a female character with the ability to summon seven light swords by magic.
I did some work in blender. Now I have to decide on my colors and materials, and the hair.
Unless you want to show something specific in your blender settings may i suggest the opengl render option to you? It helps tremendously if you want to show just your viewport. You also might want to turn on matcap.Other than that you have quite a nice beginning. The sword could perhaps be a bit pointier and the handle could be a bit bigger.

I am pretty much settled on my color scheme. Lots more work to do.
Did some work on the hair.
I decided to change up the outfit. I think I am almost ready for posing the character.
I changed the hair type and a few minor things. Does anyone have any feedback about the hair change? does it look too flat and dull? I know that there are intersections in the pants which will be fixed later, but I just wanted to show my current progress. I might add some more details since the deadline has been extended.
