** Sorry for the delay in posting this. Here is the actual story behind my Dark War Mage. Concept art should be posted either later today or tomorrow at the latest. After which, I plan to get to work on the actual 3D model.
War Mage 396, Dark side.
War Mage number 396, DNA type: dragon cross. War mage 396
was born and raised for the sole purpose of being a weapon for the Holy Empire.
The Grand Cleric of the Holy Empire initiated the war mage program 200 years
ago, and since then, the empire had taken over all neighboring countries on the
continent, and is now engaging in overseas wars, trying to wipe out the
barbaric tribes of the northern isles. War Mage 396 was part of the third generation of
war mages, and was special since he contained the dragon DNA set, of which
there was only 10 total mages from the third generation which contained the
dragon set.
War mage 396 has the ability to take on attributes of a
dragon during battle, by using magic to activate the dragon DNA fused with his
own. When this happens, the most common transformations are his hands become
clawed, he grows fangs, and his physical strength and speed is increased. However,
due to the instability of fusing dragon DNA with human DNA, the transformations
can vary, and sometimes even cause physical pain to the war mage. However,
since war mage 396 was raised to be a weapon, this is the only life he has
known and thus he considers it more of an annoyance, hindering his job, rather
than a burden.
Currently all 10 dragon war mages, including 396, are posted
in the war torn northern isles. Their orders: finish off the barbarian northern
tribes by the end of summer.
