Hey all,

I am updating my topic.

Name: Dark Critters of the woods.

Team: Dark/Evil

Bio: The Mouse Mage Morsol found the dark tomb of Yog Shathoth some 18 months ago, he has since then found himself smarter... and more malicious than ever before. Enlisting the help of other forest critters Morsol has become the defacto dark priest of the wood, raising an army of small critters up in the name of Yog Shathoth.

Hope you guys like the topic, I am already some way though the character models and I am really excited about the topic

I am at a point of frustration with my initial daughter of the deep ones concept and I am hoping to make a change.

nonetheless I am pretty happy with how some of the small details were done, and I feel I still learned a lot from the process

Its a two part problem I was thinking about,

On the one hand I worried my character didn't have a character story I felt was interesting or unique. Furthermore as I looked into making the squid hair look how I wanted it too I kept getting more and more nervous that I was making a realistic, less appealing version of Splatoons squid girl.

The second reason is I have another, easier to execute, and a little bit more fun idea that came to me half way through doing the daughter of the deep ones concept.

I'd say do the fun one then if it's easy to execute. I'm not sure if it's against the rules or not to change your concept, but I wouldn't think it would matter? Surely someone has switched late in the game before for similar reasons.

Personally, I had to look up Splatoons to make the comparison, and I'd say that you're still more on point with your original Warhammer/lovecraft concept then flying too close to their designs. Her hair doesn't have to be just tentacles. You could throw in some sea anemone arms, urchin spines, sea snakes, glowing jelly fish tendrils, etc.
