Hi my name is Angelo, but online i go by the name Asyrel, im 29 years old, in highschool i didnt really take anything seriously, i played video games all day, i was failing everything, at the age of 19 i started sketching, i always thought concept art was cool, so i would sketch, not very consistently so i didnt improve, but i kept drawing, eventually i went to university and became a graphic designer, i wanted to major in illustration but i was too afraid, my drawing was still very bad at the time... but my passion for drawing only grew as i got older, i kept drawing, still not consistently but i enjoyed when i did draw...
then i graduated with my degree in graphic design at 27, into the pandemic, no one was really hiring, i felt down, i felt like i wasted all these years... i was living with my parents, no job,and alot of time. so i thought to myself what if i could become an artist, what if i took it seriously and practiced every day, so i started practicing every day. atleast 30 minutes a day, however now im noticing theres alot of gaps in my fundamentals, that is why i purchased this course, because i want to transition from a graphic designer to a concept artist, but in order to do that i need my fundamentals to be solid to the point where i can create things from imagination . i need alot of work on my rendering, color, and values, even my anatomy doesnt feel solid yet. Here is some of my work:
