Using characters’ color palettes [generated on color.Adobe.com] to color in this character copy [of Rinotuna’s drawing] I did a while back.
Characters’ palettes used:
1. Uzui Tengen - Demon Slayer
2. Aerial - Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury
3. Misa Amane - Death Note
4. Shiver - Splatoon 3
5. Lucy Heartfilia - Fairytail

…I probably should’ve aided the website in picking the color scheme a bit more precisely. That way I could’ve had gotten the characters’ skin tones too.

I personally like Aerial’s color palette the best

Ooof this is one of those exercises which, while I understand why it's here and it IS essential, it's not that fun to do(for me at least) and I'm glad it's not too frequent across the board. You did it well though, shadows seem to align well.

Messing around in Color.adobe.com to make some color palettes.

ooh your color schemes are so aesthetically pleasing!

Yo! These are so good you can't even tell which is the reference!

Not my favorite study that I have done, although it is passable. I feel like certain features (such as the eyes and such minute details) could’ve been more accurately copied. I’m still proud of it nonetheless.

Great job! Seriously, if you didn't mark it, I wouldn't know which one is the original

Final two upper body studies/copies.
Lion-O from ‘ThunderCats’ and He-Man from ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’.
