Beginner looking for Critique - First landing on Geonosis

Hey all!
I'm brand new to these forums (and as an artist all together) so I thought I'd introduce myself and offer up a piece I created just recently. I just finished graphic design college and mentor ship so I'm super fresh. If anyone would be willing to critique my stuff or to say hi, I'd welcome either one!

Greetings! Not to be bias, despite being a Star Wars die hard from way back, I think this is a great job. The only things I can find here would be that your light placements are good are spot on. But I think the two left clones should get a little more shadow. The left one a little more so. Even though they are in the sunlight, the left two are closer to the left cliff. And since the sun looks behind them, I think you should have done a full body shadow for the right one stretched out forward a bit, and the same for the other two but less apparent since they are in shadow because of the cliff. And the left's cable looks connected to the top of the cliff even though you did try to fix it. An eye drop paint over that one spot can fix that and it's at a perfect spot to do it. But the part you tried to erase, you can put that back and it would look like he is repelling down properly. That part was fine. But besides that, it looks like a good call for a Republic Command sequel!

Thanks so much for the reply! It makes me happy to know that proper 'ole star wars fans are still kickin' . Thanks for point out that mistake with the repel rope, I didn't even realize that I had accidentally painted it over. Whoops!

And you are right about the clones being too bright. Great catch! I might go back and fix it. The original idea was to have them firing their blasters but unfortunately with the way I set them up I could put in any droids for them to shoot at. I'd think they'd look silly shootin' at nuthin so I life them out. The lasers were to illuminate them a bit more.
