You're really good, you rendering is amazing! Also the style explorations are awesome

Thanks so much! It really means a lot to hear that  Thanks for the motivation to do better!

Busy today, so only time for a quick line-sketch!

Continuing this one....really learning a lot from it!

Hey this is looking really cool! The only thing that I would change was maybe the "wings"? Tbh I can't really tell what material it is and you have such a natural looking character that the wings look stiff in contrast. But maybe that's how you wanted it, just saying

Thanks! Hey thanks for the feedback. Trying to figure out how to make that dark metal/armor. If you have any tips for that let me know  Meanwhile slowly studying materials. This character is a slow yet good learning process.

how do you do these? do you take references or do u just make them up? or a combination of both?

@jilltonic Most of the time, for the art that I take my time on, I usually gather reference before starting a piece. For the fast sketches, I usually make them up. See how much I can remember of my studies. Hoped this helped, and if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Really nice use of colour. Shadow and light. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You are very welcome. You did all the hard work

This was your starting point for that fantasticlly colourful finished piece. You had a great starting point, no wander it turned out great. Good stuff keep it up. I struggle with colour a lot, real pain in th A, wish I had your flare.

@bowzertron haha thanks! In terms of color, it's tough! I just good old fashioned brute force until I go "I like it" XD Takes some time to get it right though!
