Awesome!! I think that you should watch also the character design term of Marc, it shows how to work with siluettes as I see probably also with Trent's lesson? they are all fantastic, awesome job I super like the 1 and the 6 version, I don't know why but I like this hat shape hahaha

yeah im kinda doing this one in preparation for Marcs class. This class focus is more about creating a large variety of skins, while marcs is about more finding and exploring to get to one good design. So I am kinda looking at this like, this class is for designing the average citizens for my world, and Marc's class will help me focus on my hero character.

I am so confused with the clothing exercise. Those are both photos. Did you paint the top fabric covering her chest?

yes the one with her breast covered is the one i painted the fabric in myself, part of an assignment in tern 3 is to use the rules of cloth you learned from the lecture and attempt to cloth something that is nude or partially nude

Working on a reskin project for a game unofficial. I love Street Fighter and G.I Joe, and it just so happens that Hasbro own the toy license to both properties. So I thought I would love to see a cross over and I could redesign some of the fighters into joes. I plan on doing maybe six of the characters. Although this is stage 1 for just the first character. Please give any feedback as to what parts you like from any of the designs. these are my thumbnail flats to just explore the shapes and distribution of color. Each on was about 10 min. i did not focus on line quality or rendering.

I think that 4, 5 and 6 have the best shape language with 5 being the best probably, 4 would benefit a lot from putting some more suiting weapon like a hammer or pneumatic hammer and 6 is the most interesting but the hand and a helmet are not so well refined, hope it helps!

I like 5, 6 and 7 with 5 probably having the best balance of shapes in the design. Crazy good work considering how fast you're doing those.

put another 15 minutes into each one to really separate them as all having unique elements while keeping to the restrictions of the source and theme....still 1st phase though. trying to see what works. any feedback on particulate parts or favorite parts. you dont have to have pick just 1 as a fav, it can be head from one, boots from another etc.

hey guys. been working on my re-skin that you may have seen on Saturday. i have chosen the bits from the thumbnails that most people seemed to like and have moved onto stage 2 where i am working out how all the shapes and robotics are actually put together before I move onto stage 3 of final render.
