Hello there!
I'm sort of a highschool student from Germany who loves creating things. It's my goal to study industrial design or animation when I finish school in two years. I'm usually very insecure about posting my art, and have failed multiple times at sharing some of my work on social media, but I've reached a point where I want to improve as much as I can to build a strong portfolio! Any feedback is highliy appreciated.
To start out, here are some experiments from my sketchbook. Just practises from reference and trying stuff out!
Here are some digital doodles. I love to do digital paintings, but never really finish anything... Have a ton of more doodlings in my folders. Just mindless scribbles without much thoughts about composition. They're all drawn from memory, except for the R2D2 study.
This is a Rembrandt master study done with ink for school.
From a self-critical point of view, I'd say that my work is too mindless and I still need to practise the fundamentals a lot to make it more appealing. I often just start to do something without much foreplanning (composition etc), so a lot of personal projects that aren't redrawn for practice lack depth - also, I need to learn to work on projects much longer.
I have much more to show, but I hope this is enough for starters! I try to practice everyday and will try to update this thread on a regular basis.
Thanks for reading this!
