Day 31-Death

Death can be slow or quick. Peaceful or terrifying. Either way, we will all go through it someday...

And it's done! Congratulations to everyone here who participated, even if you didn't finish it all. Seeing all of the works that was posted was inspiring and did help me keep going. You've all done great work

Day 31 Death

Cheers to another year of Brushtober completed everyone!
Loads of fun as usual.

I'm a bit late to the game (busy weekend), but here's for 26 ... my atempt on the moon knight

and for 27/ 28 and 31 ... one of the four horsemen ... "Death" himself

Your skills are impressive! Your horseman of death looks like it came straight out of Berserk. I have no doubt in my mind you are capable of drawing the skull knight. I look forward to checking your art going forward - very inspiring for a beginner such as myself.

WOW! Love this piece! And I feel obligated to gush over it a bit right now.

The characters style feels almost vintage somehow, like something my mom would have shown me from one of her favorite picture story books she had when she was a little girl. Your subtle changes in line weight achieve both form and details of the characters features and textbook proportions, while your shading is perfectly calibrated so to never over contrast your line work. And while I can nearly never keep even just one of those aforementioned details in front of mind while I’m doodling away you have managed to encompass all of these traits brilliantly. It looks like this was drawn so seemingly effortlessly for you. Ughhh! I wish this was something I created from nothing but a single word prompt, seriously well done!

Gives me strong ā€œSkyā€ (the video game) vibes when you have to very carefully guide your little spirit/sprite through some treacherous pathway before the rain can extinguish the spirits memory. But its also a much more realistic Idea of what is a very much more minimalistic and sometimes abstract sort of in-game art style approach that, That Game Company has become well known for using in its last few game developments. Assuming I’m on the correct track here, I’m sure they would love to see your work too if you didnt already hashtag them or Sky you totally should. Fan art is always the best form of flattery from artist to artist, in my opinion at least.

So was I on the right track? Are you a fellow Moth? Haha, great work either way and keep posting your art! And yes also please let us know if there’s a instagram or another account with more of your pieces uploaded!
