Hi Cameron! Seems like a really good start! Love the eeriness/mystique of the castle image! And wel done on the connecting the dots and circle tracing. Previous attempts in other courses taught me those can be deceptively hard. All the best as you continue!

Great work on these studies, they keep getting better! You did a really fantastic job with the 3rd one with all the thickness on the bannisters!

OK so its been a hot minute since I last posted here, life gets in the way of things as it usually does. As I last said I would be moving unto the Nude Figure Tasks, and so here are tasks 1 to 5 that I've done over the last few days.

I love the way you are think about the shape form and clean lines. I think when you do these assignments multiple times like the proportions assignment you really see the growth. Really fantastic work with this! Keep it up!

Its been a hot min so its time for an update.
I've moved on from the basic proportion studies into gesture drawings. So far I've found that timing the gestures to be quite stressful, so until I'm comfortable and more familiar with it I'm not going to be timing myself as when I do I just defult into doing the skeletons as you can see below.

Oh god its been a HOT minute since I last uploaded anything...or worked on anything. Life does find a way to get in the way hahaha. Reguardles, heres what little I've managed to squeak out.

I'm feeling like I should move unto Term 2 now, but not quite sure I'm ready since the break.

Starting Term 2, and the New Year, off with a work dump. Heres everything I've done at the moment while working through the Photoshop for Digital Production term 2 class. Going to finish the PS for Digital Prod Assignment Part B soonish. Hopefully Marc doesn't mind I used one of his characters for this assignment.

Part B of Term 2 Photoshop assignment done, and here it is. Planning on moving onto the T2 Anatomy class after this.

great job in these, one thing that you can keep in mind for the future is to push the dark values a bit further when it comes to shading, that way it will make the volumes pop more

Do note that some of the heads have quite long distance from nose line to end of the chin

Oof 3 months of nothing, so due to reasons I haven't (and am still unable) to work on any of the Art School Content. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to it soon. So keep an eye out for the next time I post.

Sorry to hear that! Life sometimes takes you away from your hobbies and doing the things you love, but no worries it'll come back.. love of drawing almost always sneaks back into our lives Hope to see you get back to it soon!
