Hello everyone! My name is Carol C and I think this is the correct forum to showcase my work for school. I've been so confused on which forum I should be posting and I think this is the one.
My first assignments are in other forums but I will be using this one from now on (maybe).

Not too happy with the results but I know with more practice I can get better in capturing the life of the poses.
Skeletons

The placement of the pelvis is what stumps me a bit. Will practice more on that.

welcome to the forums! this looks like the right one. these are lookin great btw

Noice job, yeah this is the place to post stuff, welcome aboard.

First line art study was from one of my favorite artist Jackie Droujko. I am very much in love in how she implements perspective so well and each of her characters showcase a lot of personality.
I chose this character because I liked the gesture pose and the perspective.

My goal for this study was to learn how to apply line weight in the right spots. I think practicing this will help me improve on my line art since that was something I always shy away from.

Any recommendations or something I can improve on is very much welcomed please.

First of all, interesting artist you have here. As an artist who does cartoon, I love the angle and perspective of that character.

Secondly, nice art study! I know you are doing line weight but you can get more if you try to find the rhythm/energy of the pose. That may explain why particular parts have darker line weight (e.g. leg and hair)

And also, welcome!

Thank you! For my next line art study, I will try to find and capture the rhythm/energy of the poses.

For my second line art study I have chosen Max Grecke. I loved the exaggerated pose he put for the iconic Batman.

This one was very challenging for me. The main focus for me was the pose and I know I had to capture it perfectly to make the Batman come to life.

Tried my best to get the flow right. I know I could have added more variety when it came to the line weight but this is the final result. Any tips is very much welcomed.

Other line art study from artist Joe Palmer. His art is shape heavy and I wanted to study his art style.

I liked the monkey so I selected this one for my study.
