This illustration of Hay-Lin is looking amazing! All these w.i.t.c.h paintings are making me nostalgic and wanting to draw my own versions

The only piece of advice I would give is that her arms seem too short for her body. It might just be the pose but perhaps try a version where her arms are longer and put the two next to each other and then compare them.

Thank you so much Sasha, I played around more and I fixed the hands + added the wings because I had forgotten I hope it looks better, because this piece was just too exhausting and I just wanna move on to the next one T-T

It looks great! If the piece is starting to be taxing I think putting it down is a good idea the last thing you'll want is for it to become something you hate on principle because you stared at it too long >.> You should be very proud of it though

Hi guys! I'm in need of some help ToT I'm working on this piece,this is the general idea, but there is something missing, the more I render it the more unsatisfied I am with the piece, it's like I start seeing that this piece is not enough, and i start seeing how bad my composition is and just the background idk , there's something missing. The piece is always gonna look unfinished unless I change something. I hope at least a portion of this makes sense to someone so I can get help

As far as things I think you can work on, I think you can re work the shirts folds.
Another thing I recommend is maybe reworking the gesture of the hands.

Other than that, just keep refining.

Hi, first off I wanna say that I've noticed a lot of support from cubebrush on Instagram and I want to say that I'm really thankful of that. I wish more people would be active on the forum, to help and support each other more. ~

Anyway, here's my new piece. I didn't change the hand posture, cuz I kinda like her left hand and for the right one I just found it difficult and nothing worked(I need more skillz) I'm thorn for the end result, I like it but i feel like it's missing something. I've been watching a lot of Art school tutorials and hopefully I'll be able to do a full illustration type of piece that I'm happy with.

To be honest I think that the end result looks really good! I like the concept and the color palette. The faces you paint are also always a pleasure to look at

As for feedback, I'll say that there's something about her left hand that's bugging me a little, but I can't pinpoit the exact problem. And maybe you could add some shadow on her arms where her bracelet are, as they seem a bit tacked on right now. Nothing too complicated, but it could help make them blend better with the rest.

And maybe that the thing that you feel is missing is some kind of background. I'm not exactly sure of what it could be, but just think of a little story where this scene could take place and that could give you an idea of what kind of background to do.

But beyond that I think it's a really beautiful picture, just like the rest of your work!
