Well, it's been a while! I didn't draw that much since I last posted, but I did a lot of mental work trying to figure out some ideas and goals for this years. But I think I'm back!

Right now I find it a bit tedious to sketch and draw in Photoshop (painting is relatively fine) so here's two drawings I've made to try to get more comfortable with it.

Thank you very much @big-misch! The arm was probably one of the hardest part to do, so I'm glad you think it came out good.

So I've bought new pens a few days ago and I wanted to try them out. I must say that drawing with actual good pens feels great XD. Here's what I came up with. There was also a lot of post work in Photoshop, but the line work has been for the most part made traditionally

And also here area few hand studies because I found that I don't really understand how hands work.

I'm not feeling particularly inspired these days. But I'm still trying to do some art. I'm not feeling like it's particularly good, but here it is anyway.

@jenniferbrincho: I know it's been a while, but I still want to thanks you for the support!

Anyway I was out of computer for about two weeks, so I took that time to just recharge myself a little. And here's the two things I'm working on right now.

This is a sketch for a future painting. I'm still trying to force myself to do some relatively clean sketches in order to improve my general drawing abilities:

And here's a closeup of a painting I'm working on. I'm trying something a bit different with this one by combining flat colors with more rendered sections:

And here's the finished piece. It was painted with acrylics on a 11 inches by 14 inches canvas panel. Unfortunately there's a bit of glare in the darker area, but I couldn't do better with the scans.

I was vaguely inspired by Audioslave's song ''The Last Remaining Light'' and I think it's also a fitting title for this painting. What do you all think?

So there's a study I've made. Not quite accurate but still looks good to me and I learned a thing or two.
