A pastel sketch that I did on a piece of grocery paper bag. I then added some finishing touches in photoshop. My idea was to make a portrait that had been sculpted on a rocky surface, maybe by a long lost civilization of some kind.

I'm finally done with this painting! I call it Veuve, which is the french word for widow. It all began as I started to form an association of various ideas that are more or less linked and it turned into this concept.
