Characters in a small town WIP

Hi folks!
I'm currently working on this little project here and would be very happy for any kind of feedback, especially in regards to lighting and anatomy of the two characters.

Nice rendering so far. I like the mix of sharp and soft edges, and the vibrant colours stand out.

The blue coat around the man's waist looks a little too high up. The woman's bracelet needs to be moved slightly up and right, then skewed to match the direction the knuckles are facing. You could bend the woman's bent arm more to make her pose less stationary, but you'll have to move the hand's placement to match the position. Good work so far.

Hey it looks pretty good for me. A thing I'd say that could be checked are the necks. Specially hers looks a bit too long/wide, perhaps it'd help to rise a bit the collarbone. Same with the man, the neck feels a bit big in comparison with the head and the rest of the body. However this might just be intended so I might be wrong hahahha

I definitely agree with the points about their necks. It's funny how you can look at something for hours and never notice anything's off and the moment someone else mentions it, you're like "Why did I never see that?"
I'm not quite sure about the coat, because I intended it to be a bit higher than his waist, but I'll definitely try to lower it and compare. Angling the woman's arm a bit more is also a good point.

Made some small progress. The advice regarding poses and proportions were spot on, it looks significantly better IMO. Not that there's not a lot still to be done, but baby steps

Some more progress. I redid the background entirely and reworked the guy's sword arm, because that one was very wonky. Feedback is of course welcome.
