Hey everyone!

My name is Chris and after stumbling through life not really knowing where I want to go or what i want to do I ended up giving in to my passion of creating art. And here I am trying my best to get better at what has been my secret love affair for all of my life (don't tell my girlfriend I said that). If someone is interested in joining in and becoming my new art buddy please feel free to comment or message me. Let's get creative people!

here a little preview of what you can expect from me:

Wow cool! I really like the sharp outlines. It's almost like MS Paint meets Photoshop, and I don't mean that at all in a bad way. It's something not usually executed well, but around the wolf's fur and mixed in to various textures it looks quite good.

welcome to the forums, Chris :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks! I kind of messed up the quality while trying to make it fit a forum post and not a billboard, I should try to fix that haha

And another one that looks more like the style I normally tend to get

Bro what are you saying? Your style is pretty cool! Love specially the narrative of the first image! Pretty good job, nice to mention that to domain those sharp lines without creating tension is pretty complicate to do (Even for well known artists) and you just nail it!

from todays practice session. still a WIP, didn't know where exactly I wanted to go with this for the most part

I like the amount of variety in these 3 posts. It's clear that you're not afraid to try new things, and tread on new territory. Can't wait to see more.

Thank you! I still have so much to learn so I don't think it would be beneficial to be hung up on one style yet. I try to explore as many things as possible and find what feels the most comfortable for me. At least for painting. When it comes to drawing I am pretty hung up on characters

Nice! I really enjoy the first piece you've posted and that grayscale creature you've posted two days ago looks pretty demented. I like it!

@cedricgo thank you very much. the grayscale one was a more emotionally driven piece that still needs to get finished. love your yeti animation btw

I really like the playfulness of your macho man doing the splits  I imagine that's a great coffee cup to start the day with

Ha, good to see more FMA Fan's. Welcome to the forum and yeah. If anything pops up in the future shall let you know (insights).

Another WIP. My girlfriend sent me a picture of a heavily tattoed guy she found in an old fashion book and I kind of started to doodle some stuff that ultimately turned into this. And like always midway through painting I get lost an don't really know where to go. I might revisit it sometimes in the future when I am better.

@brianhermelijn Can't get enough of FMA I watched at least once a year since it came out . I would love to hear and see more from you in the future.

@catapanoart Thank you for your advice! I just checked out your website and I am really inspired by your work. Really great stuff I would be honored to get more feedback from you.
