Your progress is pretty impressive, and I am inspired to improve my skills more. The only thing I would suggest is that as your gesture improves, I would suggest loosening the arms and legs a bit, using straight forward limbs seems uninteresting, so try to make it look like this.

It will improve your posing a great deal if you do that. While volume and shapes are important, a consistent and fast gesture is much more interesting to grasp, and if you draw the base form, maybe you'll have time to add small details, like fingers or faces, etc.

In any case, keep up the good work.

Thank you for your kind words and your advice! I will pay attention to this in when i do my future gesture drawings.

These are really cool! Especially the 3rd one, good job on the rounded edges, those must've been rough.

Thank you! It took me a few attempts to get them right.

Week 8:
Now that Week 8 has come to an end, it's time for me to look back at what I've learned over the last few weeks.

First I learned the basics of Photoshop or in my case CSP. I learned what tools are available to me in this program and how to use them correctly. I also learned how to get a feel for my pentablet by doing pen control exercises.

I then learned how to construct the human body using simple shapes and had my first experience with figure drawing. The line art studies also helped me to develop a better understanding of this. I also got to know gesture drawings which helped me to concentrate on the important elements and not get lost in the small details. I still have my problems with getting my gestures right but I am working on getting better at it.

Last but not least, I had my first experience with 1 point and 2 point perspective. From drawing simple volumes to environment studies, I've learned a lot about this subject and I'm looking forward to continuing with 3 point perspective in Term 2.

Perspective 1 Assignment 4:
I wished i had more time for this to add more smaller details but overall I'm happy with the result.
