Considering Art School Purchase

Been trying to do research on the Art School program. My simple question is, is it for beginners? like complete drawing beginners? or just beginners in digital art?

I would say that while it might be a bit more focused towards digital arts, with a few early assignments being about using specific digital tools like levels and curves, a lot of what is presented in the courses can be easily applied to traditional art too. And I found that the way the courses are presented is very beginner friendly, with a nice progression over the terms.

I would second what cedric wrote. If your just starting out, the first term is great for getting you into things with some exercise you can do to get more comfortable drawing and using photoshop. The first 4 terms are especially the best for beginners. These are the ones you'll most likely rewatch the most as well as there mainly about the fundamentals of drawing. The assignments in these are the ones you'll want to tackle most.

I was wondering if the cirriculum covers art in NSFW art like how to draw them ? (sorry to ask this )

It does cover anatomy in extensive detail, which would be required for anything with nude figures. Also the fundamentals of light and composition which would be required too.

Well the first 4 terms are on anatomy without being explicit( only really not detailing private areas). Term 6 has the final color and light video and term 10 teaches you about making that final illustration. Its not directly teaching you NSFW( as in making a sex scene) as artschool is more general and teaches you all you need to branch off and do your own thing. You can definitely still use all the lessons and make up your own NSFW pieces seeing as 99% of human anatomy is covered. Seeing as anatomy is one of the main things in NSFW you should be fine. You need to know storytelling and composition as well to make a good looking scene. Your going to learn about posing and how to get better at it.

Thank you both, this was incredibly uncomfortable to ask but it does give me some insight, Marc seems like an amazing teacher, can't wait to try it.
