From what I seen I believe your picking nice colors but your values are lacking. Some anatomy and proportion problems that can be solved by using reference and doing studies of the human form. Brush strokes can be improved as well. Everything looks really soft in your images which makes things look blurry. Other than this you have cools ideas. Keep up the good work and I hope this helps somewhat.
