Critique on portrait piece

Hi guys! Any ideas on how I can improve this piece and things that I can work on going forward?

The rendering on the ear and the horns could use some more time, it looks a bit foggy, specially considering how it's near a spot that draws attention, which is the face.
Otherwise, I like your stuff!

I really like your art, though I want to suggest you one thing:

the overall piece is nice, but if you look at it you may notice how all edges are too fuzzy or blurry. I assume you used only one brush for this painting, and it's a brush with a medium/low opacity. I suggest you use a brush that has a stronger edge and opacity, for those areas which are supposed to look sharp (such as the horns) or to define edges (like for the clothes, or the edge of her jaw. when starting a piece, try to use a brush with high opacity to make the overall shapes, then you blend the different color gradients using a lower opacity brush. Hope this helps!

In addition to the previous comments the pupils of the eyes aren't pointing the same way. In the far eye we can only see half retina and pupil, as if side on, whereas the nearest eye we see all of it as a complete, round circle.

Thanks for the critiques guys! @fleyr.mori I'll do some more work on rendering the ears and the horns, to be honest I did those bits last and I got a bit lazy. @prode.ettorre.98 I used the soft round brush mostly and the hard round brush to define the edges, I definately agree that the overall effect is quite blurry. I'll go in and do a pass with the hard round brush to push those edges more. @moirae yeah now that you mention it she looks pretty cross-eyed I'll go in and correct that. Thanks again guys I'll make the changes and have the ammended piece up within a day or two!

Ok so I took the feedback on board and hopefully improved the piece. I took some time to try and clean up/ sharpen the edges and worked on the ears and horns. I adjusted the far eye as well.
