I asked this in another ArtWar group forum thread (there are so many!) but maybe this is a better place to post it:It seems that whenever CubeBrush promotes images of ArtWar2 - whether it's in the image mosaic on the top of all pages on the site, or your Instagram feed, or whatever - it's pretty much always the 3D entries, never the 2D entries. When I first posted this note, there were thirteen ArtWar2 3D entries showcased in the image mosaic at the top of each page and no 2D entries featured. But you've since updated the mosaic and now there are fourteen 3D entries and zero 2D ones. Why is that? C'mon, CubeBrush, we spent months working hard on our ArtWar2 entries, so show the 2D artists some love too!

This could be explained by the 3D judging being conducted first so they are the only entries that have been looked over so far though I did feel this was somewhat the case for the WORLDS competition too; correct me if I'm wrong but I don't actually remember seeing the winning 2D entry for that featured xD
anyways, I really don't want to complain;

The reason we featured art from the contest at all while it was underway was to showcase ZBrush sculpts. Now that this year's contest has ended, all 2D/3D entries will be prominently featured here and on all our social media accounts over the coming weeks. For 2D, we felt it was best to wait until the entry was complete rather than show a WIP you might not be 100% proud of yet.

3D finalists on fire
I am deeply humbled to have even made it into the first batch of finalists. The entries have been amazing! I am even seeing ones I somehow managed to miss during all the hype!
However, i am not sure if anyone else is having this issue: the last block of nine images don't seem to link back to their respective posts.
But anyway...Awesome job everyone! I am really looking forward to the 2D entries!
I'm eagerly awaiting the 2D finalists! In the meantime though, congrats to all the SUPER awesome 3D finalists! You guys definitely earned your spots up there.

I think that's because they were supposed to be 30 finalists and they changed it to 39. I guess they forgot to modify the value referring to the total number of finalists. @Cubebrush
Just to let you know, you can't click on some of the 3D finalist images to go to their thread. There are no links attached I'm guessing
@marc - Thank you for your reply. I get where you are coming from in wanting to show off those gorgeous sculpts (which look great even when not textured) and not wanting to feature a 2D piece of art until it was complete... but there have been a lot of superior entries that have been finished for a month and a half now. Dishwasher1910, tithendar, and deivcalviz, for example, all finished their illustrations in early February. It sounds like you're waiting until finalists are announced to show any 2D works but in the meantime, 3D works are featured left and right. Not that I am knocking the 3D works - they're all utterly fantastic! - but if it's a 2D and 3D contest, it only seems fair to equally promote both sides instead of one side 100% of the time and the other 0% of the time... or to at least throw the 2D artists a bone once in a while!
I apologize for being a "squeaky wheel," I still really appreciate this competition, relish the feedback and friends I've found here, and would rate it and would purchase / participate again.
But thats the same case on 3D too right? I mean also the non rendered sculpt can be not so good looking as the Rendered and textured one?

I've been on this site for more than a year now and believe me they've featured a lot of 2d art work already. Just because something isn't featured doesn't mean it's unworthy, it's not like its ruining lives.
PS The current featured 3d works didn't make it to the finals; so someone is looking out for these guys.
