Longer time no see haha! Forgot to share it here. This is one of my longest project so far, first time I was drawing material such as golden surfaces and stuff. I hope you like this one!

Hey there, here's a late welcome on my part as I've been away a lot XD I'm just a fellow student here,

Gotta say, I like your use of stylized semi realistic heads with flowey contrast between detailed facial features and loose brush strokes for backgrounds and effects

Couple of things i notice in this piece is the perspective on the sword looks off and something about the way the highlight on the nose goes all the way through and the shadow on the figure's right nostril goes too far up, might have to recheck the structure there

oh I see what snakker says, like it seems you are looking at the character from below, while at the same time being able to see the top of the hilt.

Otherwise the piece looks great!!! Such nice lighting and brush effects.

I'll take care of proper anatomy the next time! I'm already into head studies in order to get everything right.

It's so weird when you start learning to draw from different angles. Might ask for more feedback in future.

Friend of mine just did a 100 head challenge and it inspired me a lot. The usual challenge is to draw 100 heads in 10 days but that's a little bit too ambitioned respecting the fact that I'm in the middle of a fulltime internship

So let's see if I am able to draw the 100! Anyway, here are the first 8 ones!

These are looking great! Do you use any reference to inspire the sketch or are these just going with the flow?

ohh i cant wait to see more 100 heads is daunting at first but once you get into the flow of things its pretty fun to test out new ways to draw the head

Very nicely rendered! Haven't really thought too much about a specific style, other than emulating some of the ones I admire. Seems it comes naturally as you continue to learn and develop arts.

I always admired their artstyle, along with other styles too. But it took me 3 1/2 years to say "Okay, I'd like to go with this."

But until then I experimented A LOT
