Had some free time this week, so was able to get some more prorgress.
Term 4
Next exercice in the queue is:
"Daily Anatomy 3 assignment 1 - Draw the lower body muscles directly onto skeleton photos"
Not tecnically a photo, but now that we completed the lessons on the overall body anatomy, to get some practice I went back to complete Mr. Calaca's transition into Mr. Musculos. I think it also qualifies as "putting muscles over a skeleton"
I'll go and do some actual photos as well, since placing muscles in different posing skeletons should make for some good exercices.
Learning anatomy has been quite a ride, however to know the muscles is one thing, but to apply it to make characters look good needs some practice. So to continue the anatomy practice, I figured I would try to apply it and do some fanservicy stuff with some of the manga characters. Also wanted to continue practice shadowing and all that. Also a friend kept bugging me to do some fanservicy stuff so figured I could obligue a bit xD.
These where initially just intended to be sketch practice, but I was enjoying it, so one thing led to another and this is what we got.
As I mentioned before, I usually have a hard time doing "attractive hot characters", and though that's not my focus, I still consider fanservicy stuff the spice of the project (too much spice and it becomes unbearable, but sprinkle the right amount and it becomes even better).

Final page of chapter 30 complete!
1) I really wanted to capture that shock and surprise reaction on Lydia to what she was just told, so exaggerated it's comical (there's even a tumbleweed on the roof, @mitsuki-youko suggested that xD). Whatever could that had been to elicit such a reaction? Especially since with the context of the last page it seems to be related to Seki in some way..? A nice cliffhanger to wrap up this chapter. I hope once things are revealed and elaborated more on, readers will agree the reaction was deserved.
2) I wanted to have a zoom out view of the location to exagerate her scream even further, like the camera zooming out of the scene. I kinda rushed the background though, as I was starting to get tired and tried to take some shortcuts. Not quite what I originally imagined but I think it still meets the goal.
3) With this, most of the groundwork of chapter 30 is finally complete! However I still need to do the summary page, the "cover art", translation (which includes translating some onomatopeyas, not very fun), and final editing work before it's finally uploaded to webtoon.
4) Probably the longest a chapter has taken to produce so far, at 2 months, but it was a very heavy period in real life. It is what it is. I hope next chapter can be completed in less time, though I'm also trying to take it more chill this year, so I'll try to not put too much pressure on myself.
