Oh yeah, totally is. Actually, is not even a joint, is just a marker I add to be sure I'm drawing a cylinder that ends up in the final part of the process 😅

So, closed fists from a “back view” turned out to be a lot harder than I thought. Because everything is “hidden”, is kinda hard to tell where everything goes. Did my best, tho.

The steps I took here were:
1. Find the main “mouse”/cube for the palm
2. Find the thumb (without really finishing it)
3. Finding the index
4. Finding the rest of the fingers (from pinky to middle one)

Definitely looked a lot at my own hand to understand what the f*** was going on. Also one may or may not have flipped everything upside down to try and make things easier 🤫😝

hey Dan. I think you should look at the hand on the bottom right a bit more, IMO from that angle you should see the knuckles protrude out a bit more creating a bit more curvy outline.

I know you worked on that before but I just noticed as I was looking at the fist hand to figure out how to get the knuckles to pop a bit more.

Regarding that you could add a few more lines to suggest the location of certain bokes or add volume with shadows to get the point across as well.

This has been definitely the hardest “hand pose” I did by far. It was very hard to break down the proper shape to it. Will definitely repeat at least one more time to be sure I got it. Will explain the steps once I’m sure of them (I still don’t know how, honestly 😆).

Ok, had to take a break from hands 😝
I was on a point that I didn’t even know how to draw something other than... you know... ✋

Cool. I've been wanting to do SO Avatar Art for awhile. looking forward to the colored version if you decided to color it.

I think the shoulder is a bit to close to the neck though.

Yeah, I think I'm going at it for more than 3 weeks now, a bit everyday. Will probably move one to something else tho, I feel the rest of my anatomy skills are starting to get rusty.

Finally started the lower body anatomy. It was a bit confusing at first, but now that we are shaping the muscles around the containers, things started to make a bit more sense.

Shaping things up slowly. Updates are:

• Gluetus medius and maximus: line, colors and fibers
• Starting to shape up the anterior compartment of the leg (quadriceps, others).
