It's my first time to try digital painting and I was hoping for some advice or critiques to improve! This was for a school project I had to do a few days ago. The (unfinished) rendered version is different from the original concept/line-art because I was asked to make the character "evolve", in which I chose a "dark" evolution.
The original piece was mostly inspired by butterflies and their symbolism, as well as a bit of the Victorian fashion.
I'm looking for any kind of comment and/or tips on improvement on digital painting! Advice for character design is welcome too because that's what I want to focus and practice on. Thank you!
