Cylinder exercise ^
this was frustrating icl, i started this a week ago but had to leave it cause it was making my brain hurt. finally sat down and forced myself to finish it off today, I think im gonna have to have a couple more goes at this, some of them look right but some are completely off

finally completed week 2, i think this took me way too long , i'm really finding the cylinder exercises hard to do, I just cant get the hang of the angles - most of these i cant tell if they're wrong but they look it. I guess if i'm finding it this hard i've just got to keep doing them till I get a better understanding.
looking forward to week 3 though - hopefully i'll actually be able to do it in a week instead of taking a month

I did a sketch of my SWTOR character ^ so i thought i'd pop this in here but other than some doodles in my sketchbook I haven't really drawn this past month i want to get back into regular character design and project work for my portfolio, so hopefully ill have some of that to post this month!

For my fist line-art study I chose this concept art of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn by Ilya Golitsyn. I love this piece its so beautiful, I have the art book and this is one of my favorite pieces from that and I love the games, theyre amazing!! Having said that I am glad with the direction they went in for Aloy's final desgin (suits her character more) shes so pretty and badass.

This was fun but next time I think I'll choose a piece with more obvious line-art and less details cause this took me forever

line art study 2 - i went on a little trip to Brighton and brought the best lineart pen i've ever owned so I decided to do this one free hand in my sketchbook. I got the helmet a bit chonky

Your second line art study does look pretty good so far. The helmet and left arm do look a little wide.

The line art looks pretty good. I think you should add more lines on the energy around Psylock's fist.
