Hey guys,

I recently bought the Ultimate Career Guide : Concept Artist by Marc Brunet, and I need feedback from what I did so far.
So my concept is a female character, human looking, and she has two things that I want to put on her design :
- she's a dancing warrior (kind of like Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, the way he fight looks like he's dancing ^^)
- She's very close to the water, the ocean, beaches etc... So I want people to see that she's affiliated to the water.

Like I said, I want her to be human looking, so it has to be little details. So far, I made sort of tentacles in her hair, and her ears could looks like coral.
So if you guys has others suggestions, please tell me. I'm just gonna take care of the basic naked body right now, I will take care of the gears and clothes later.

Tell me everything you think guys, I really need feedback =)

Cheers

I like the ideia and the drawing is well done.
The tentacles in the hair are going to move like a body part, or ar just there as hair?

It depends on whether she wears clothes or not what you can throw in to suggest a seaside dweller. For clothes, think of the terms "flowing", "waves", and "organic". Apply them to patterns on the clothes. Consider sea creatures and whether or not there would be an emblem of one on her. Think of colors that may be found around the sea. Consider bracelets or necklaces made with items found near or within the ocean.
