Oh really? I did not know that to be honest XD. I actually can draw feet don't worry! I guess when refining my sketch Ill show his whole figure except cutting off the bottom part. I might even do a little bit of a switch of canvas orientation too to see what would work.

Yeah, those are kind of my favorite colors as well for his clothing >/<!

I might work on "I have no choice" one, however, I don't know how visually compelling it is or how well it tells a story XD. So I mostly stuck between Defense and I Have No choice.

It is a tough choice! I am still debating on what to do XD, hopefully I can figure it out soon.

From what i can see from the thumbnails it tells the story pretty well, for exemple in Defense you show a Hero that protects people, and he's ready to fight back that's already a lot

Yeah, that rule is mentioned only in the FAQ... which is one of the three different pages where the rules are listed (and different info about the rules at that!) so it's kind of hard to find. But I guess that's why we have forums, so that we can all keep each other informed!

Hello guys! I apologize for not posting in a while. I wasn't feeling so well, but I needed to push! So I decided to work on my final composition. I am still tied between, 7 and 8 they both have qualities that I like. They both have fluidity and feel very cinematic to me.

I also went ahead and changed up the orientation of the canvas too. Seeing if the compositions would have a better impact just by changing the format. I think because of how I posed the character, certain orientations work better than others as seen below.

What do you guys think? Comments are welcomed as always!

First, glad you're back!
Then, I think it depends on what you want to show for your character, do you want to show him in his hero duty, 7, or do you want to show him mid fight where he show all of his potential, 8 ?
I think 8 would work better for the contest, but it's your choice now

Oh dear, to be honest, I am really stuck on this one! They both seem like really nice ideas. I am just struggling between the two now. I guess 8 would work the best since it feels more like he is actively doing something. But 7 has it's charms too, choices choices XD

Then maybe you can do both, do one for the contest and the other for your portfolio later This way you just have to choose which one to do first !

Alright guys, so I was doing more of my main compositions. I decided to do both, but I still need to choose one for the contest, but I was doing both so I can see which one would make sense for the contest.

I apologize for all the grids and such, always need to make sure that I have accurate perspective! I might actually do the top picture, I kind of like the flair about the image. And it gives a more full-body image to the character too. Basically him in all his power and getting ready for battle.

Hello guys! Sharing some work in progress, I usually paint in values first before just going all out in color. Mostly just to establish a few things first. Right now he is a faceless monster XD but don't worry he will be developed slowly. I really want to take my time with this and produce the best work possible! >//<

More work in progress pictures XD, his face is a bit more developed but I think I might spend the longest time on his clothing and the environment. But yeah, mostly just sharing my progress! I hope it looks okay. A few things might appear off, but they will be fixed trust meee! XD
