Nice going so far. Are you going to make the rock that was presumably holding the sword a little more impressive? Maybe some kind of dark altar or something?

Thank you! Thinking on maybe add some ornaments and runes to the garbs, so I might jump back to some garb design variation and sword hilts as well, I got carried away with the development of the final illustration because I wanted to play around with the mood of the image as in elements distribution, rough color palette and pose, while it is a stiff walking pose I wanted to create that movement feeling they just arrived and the champion is just pulling his sword out.
Worked a bit on the cloth area to try some sketches over it for more ornaments and markings, one more cosmical and one more demonic, just some ideas. Also tried some hilts, not too flashy or ornamented, I like swords simple and sharp

Woah, he looks like a bad ass dwarf white walker! The red-faced monks are a great addition as well. Your winter/ice setting gives the art a great ambiance which I think is really fitting. Nice work!
Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it . I was looking for hi contrast between the enviornment and the black/dark grey and red colors, and a dark fiery abyss seemed too cliché so I opted for a white/iced abyss.

Another update, playing with sword color and working on detail here and there, fixing some shadow issues, I'll keep you posted
