Hello there, this year's contest looked like fun so i decided to join in. And also use this as an excuse to improve my video making skills.
I wanted to create a young warrior character that has been forced to fight in a war. And they carry a large Pavise (shield) around the battlefield to protect as many people as possible.

these are just quick ideas, pavises were created with gessoed canvas on wood with full blown illustrations on them, i cannot wait to paint that.
