Another try on the figurehead idea, the clothes are based on sails.
I think it fits with the "warden of the coast " name but also i was thinking in "maiden of the prow" as her name

Hey @innocent, thank you for your comment on the early concept, i didn't try any further on that design because i thought the torso didn't look well acoplated to the rest of the prow, recently i did a redesign of that concept based on the sunken ship sketch ( the one at the left ) triying to make it look like the character is wearing a dress.

But aslo i think that i could back to the first design and develop it in a different way

Back and keel views,i thought the saddle over a chest would work with the ship idea.
I thinking in remove the reins, because i conceiving both the horse and his rider as a only one entity.
I like "Portuario" as his name.

Your concept is mind blowing really! its unique to see such a design like this, perhaps if adjust the knight little bit bigger can show more power. But overall its awesome and unique character!!
