This is my first time participating in an art challenge like this!!

I still have not yet come up with an Entry Name and a story. I am still exploring which side I am taking and what kind of character I am creating.

I made more thumbnails to see what I could come up with today. I think I will choose the LIGHT side Still haven't made up my mind yet. I guess I will have to explore further!

I practiced drawing female celebrities' faces today to observe the general shapes and curves used. Can you guess who they are? Lol

Finally decided my character name and story behind it!
Character Name: Princess Bermuda
Purpose: Guard the Bermuda Triangle (portal) where connects both our world and the dark worlds. Keep out the dark beings. She glows in the dark so she is the protector of the local marine life.
Weapon: Anchor & Shield
Armour: Heavy/Medium/Light
Armour Style: Caribbean, Tribal, Marine life, etc..
Special abilities: unknown

I made several iterations for Princess Bermuda and I have been plotting out her back story - She was born in a mysterious island that is located within the Bermuda Triangle. The local residents including her parents were the survivors from their ship wrecks. The island is a mixture of various groups of people and monsters. One day the residents made a deal with the monsters to use her as a blood sacrifice in order to please their "god".. She was dumped into a massive swirl at the centre of the Triangle and sunk into the bottom of the sea. Going through that swirl and into the darkness somehow gave her special powers and brought her back in life. Even though she has become much powerful, she has also seen what evil lies beyond the swirl. Hence, she has committed herself to stop the darkness from coming into our world.

I did my best to come out FRONT, BACK and SIDE VIEWS today. What do you think? I also did some facial expressions to think about what personality she should have.
