The focal point in character drawings is almost always the face, be careful not to lose her amongst the large areas of red either side of her. At the moment my eye is being drawn to the sides of the images and not the centre. Perhaps if you turned her armour green instead of blue it would contrast with the red more, and not be so similar to the sky behind her?

It might seem that way right now because the image isn't cropped properly. I'm going to adjust the contrast in certain areas to help make her body and face pop more because the wings are so full of color.

This is a very cool design and is coming along very nicely. Right now my only concern is the color harmony overall. It seems like there are too many colors competing for attention, and none of them are the focal point. Here is a really good short video that has been helpful to me lately, I hope you find some use out if it.

Yeah, I'm working with wrangling the saturation on parts. I dipped the wings back down so they're not so loud and I think it's helping. Thanks

Another update. Thinking of putting stars in the wings and changing the weapon up a bit to be larger and have more flow.

Finished up most of the core character Going to continue to refine some stuff and now I need to figure out the background.

Ahh man I just love this one. The stars add a really nice touch. Would love to see how you alter the background; perhaps you can help it aid more attention towards the torso/head of your champion?

This looks awesome! But I think the sun in the background won't do you a favor because it's too bright and draws too much attention

Great entry so far! Lovely anatomy design and attention to detail! I agree with @tbrk that the sun may not be working in the picture, only for a slightly different reason: With the sun there, your whole character should be backlit. (Although in your first post you mentioned mirror prism wings. Are you still going to do that? Because they sound awesome, 'though really challenging to paint. But if the sun was shining through them, then maybe that is an appropriate place for the sun to be!)

You might consider pulling the head flames to the left so that they don't intersect or tangent so much with the wings and have a stronger, more clear silhouette.
