Hello, my name is Thomas and I like to make up characters and worlds mostly in the fantasy genre. My character started off with some research into myths and legends where I came across the Celtic sun god Belenos. Then I branched out to a few designs based on thumbnails and the themes of light and dark. I usually play do-gooder characters in rpg games so it came naturally to do a "light" character, BUT through brainstorming I used the more broad definition of Belenos as a god of light and of decay, choosing to bring out his dark side in the final design.

season and is beginning to purge the land to allow new growth. Sending out the fire worms
from his smoldering hammer, blocking out nurturing sunlight, Belenos begins an age of darkness.

Hi! What about the winged guy who looks like Belenos since you named your thread Belenos? ^^ The sword and shield dude is pretty cool and efficient too.

Go dark side, go! I feel he lost his godly appearance in 2, but the design itself is more attracting. Quick survey : did you try place a hammer head instead of the blade on the spear? Anyway, it is already epic.

Oi, good job on those thumbs!
Actions of 1,2,3 are really original and the monumentalism of 3 is interesting. To my mind it will mostly depends on your rapidity of execution since the deadline is short. Don't forget the war thematic. Good luck!

Here are a few comps for the final illustration. I decided to make it much more war-like and include a working story

Belenos, god of the sun, of growth and decay has reached the end of the growing

with his hammer, blocking out nurturing sunlight, belenos begins an age of darkness.
the centaur race, known for cultivating a rich culture and beautiful art, are not
ready to give up their home and plan a coup using water magic. the fight is brutal as
belenos must restore order to the land, while the centaur must fight to retain their
culture

Hi!
Still great! I prefer the holyness of the second one in term of lighting, like the second from your previous batch. The framing is also more interesting on this one than on the fourth (close combat!). The only black point is the spear of the centaur in the foreground, wich is super distractive for now. Go belenos, go!
