Hey guys I need some final opinions. Which design did you prefer?

The 2nd one has more detail, but I feel like the silhouette of the shoulders in option 1 is stronger.

Thanks for the feedback! Still refining and finalizing the final sculpt, but I am slowly getting there. You can still see some faceted parts, but that's what I am working on right now. Might do one last revision on the shoulder armor as well

Making some last decisions on the wing design

Felt that pauldrons didn't read well at all and looked like a mess so I'm reworking them. Put that hawk head there as a joke, but I quite like what it looks like, I'll see if I will carry it out. Obviously make the head more sculpture like and stylized-mech looking. Will be slightly reworking the braces as well.

For the first time in a long time, starting to get really happy with this character. I will revamp the bracers completely and then quickly move to retopo and final textures. Let me know any last pointers!

Hey guys this is my finished high poly piece and the basic color scheme. I would like to thank everyone who took their time to comment on my progress. I am quite happy with this character as this is the first original armor/character design that I've done. Now off to texturing!

Just finished baking this guy now off to texturing.

Ended up changing the colour scheme slightly in the end.

Went with carbon fiber, brushed aluminum and gold look.

This was an absolute nightmare to texture, but since I have so little time I need to keep moving. Might add a few more accents, but then export the files and do the final pose. Starting to wish I had made a more simple character, but I am happy I pushed with this.

That is a BEAUTIFUL gold material! I love the lights too (Especially the wings).

Not much time left now, and I have to leave for a day so I had to quickly do the pose. Now all I have to do is put textures on the weapon and do some final renders combining this pose and applying materials in marmoset. Wish me luck

So it took me a while to figure out how to make substance painter material work in corona, but I think I sorted it now. All I have to do is add all of the materials to the pose, and I'm done!

So happy to announce that I am finished with the character and final renders. It took me a long time and only a few hours short of the deadline, but I am very pleased to called this finished. Thanks everyone who commented and liked my stuff along the way.

Absolutely fantastic nothing more to say just, absolutely fantastic.

If i remember correctly, the detail sheet has to be 2048x2048 and not bigger than 2.3mb exactly. Might want to look at it again. Also it says to edit your first topic. Don't want you to be disqualified because of something so small. I suggest you look at the official rules for more information
