IDEAS GENERATION
The idea here is that following Earth's destruction, humans piece together what they can to regain what they once knew. Here we see a VR/Holographic Drive in style Cinema showing the latest movie. I wanted to have a future that was still excited and drawn to the past with a twist.
I'm using Autodesk 3D Studio Max for all the modelling and I've spend around 6 hours so far on just the modelling. I'm going to use "Ink & Paint" to achieve a cell shaded style and as much as possible keep to the materials with the 3DSMax.
My favourite film ever is Jurassic Park. I remember how I felt during the film and after, amazing feeling of oar as the film unfolded and more dino's came alive. I thought this would be a great link to the past, to a time before time and a suggestion of earths beginning. I loved the animated film "Treasure planet" but even more "Titan AE". The styling, colours used, characters and environments all make for great inspiration. I will also apply Simon Stalenhag's and Sparth's artistic style, using simple but effective objects in familiar environments to further bring the images to life.
