Hello guys, i am new here. Really sorry if its not in the right category
I have really nice idea for a sketch work for a tattoo.
Unfortunately i cant get it to the stage i want to stark working from.
Really appreciate every kind of help!!

In my mind is something like trash polka/geometric maybe keep the form of the lips

I think you should just find reference. study the look you want to go for and make tons of iterations into you find something you like.
Also the background here is distracting. I think you can try to keep the shapes of the lips but make them geometric and the hand more realistic so they contrast off of each other. You can iterate on that idea. Maybe the hand is geometric and the lips are realistic. Play with ideas and have fun. Hope this helps.
