commision sketches i did for a friend, stylized them using references.

gartic phone sketches from memory in the past 2-3 days. game is a lot of fun, forces u to draw fast, accurate, and things out of comfort zone. and trains creativity imo. also was my first time trying animation in many years.

Hey brohawx, thanks for the kind words, I wish i could keep powering through but my classes are getting harder and more time consuming I like clip studio a lot though, the g pen is nice and is abit similar to the lineart pen i used in sai but has a slightly better feeling. It gives off a more manga style feeling.

The program feels less smooth and more laggy than paint tool sai though and I thought it was just me (maybe my laptop) but another person said the same thing. I mainly got it so i could get used to it by the time I feel ready to start a webtoon on it. I heard that it's the best for creating webtoons and comics. I would recommend trying it out, there's a free 30 days trial.

2 gartic doodles out of hundreds i did last few weeks (dont want to spam my sketchbook with gartic) and sketch page doodles primarily from memory. one of the apple black poses is referenced, the sasuke poses are refed, both shenhe poses refed, bottom tanjiro referenced, rest from memory. I like the frog in middle but not really happy with this page compared to previous ones. I may go back to sai for sketches/lineart and only use clip studio for toning and panels and effects. The line feels so laggy and i like how my sai sketches look more. Brushes/program dont really matter that much but after using one for all my life i might as well stick to it at least for lineart.

Doodles from imagination primarily. I’m kind of proud of some of these designs/doodles. Reference used for both of the tanjiros, the bottom left power’s face/expression, the pose/clothing to left of glasses guy bottom left, jynx pose, the corner chainsaw guy bottom right and the other chainsawguy. Top half of raiden pose ref’d, Sakura and 2b referenced. Rest from memory. I’m finding it easier to draw fanart and keep it in my style even tho my style all over the place. I like the top right figure and the two faces next to Sakura.

Also some 1-2 minute gartic sketches i liked.

gartic doodles and a doodle page from imagination. reference used for the pose of genos and andriod 18. Also used reference for the treasure chests and some of the beer bottles. gartic phone has made me learn animals a little bit because of how often people write prompts of it lol.

gartic phone doodles (1 to 30 minute each)

and a doodle page from imagination and reference. Reference used for the one piece poses, spy family poses, yea miko, erza pose, robert Pattinson head, the portrait family on bottom, fma poses, hxh on bottom, the pose of astronaut girl, the snorlax, asta pose semi referenced, and the rest is from imagination. My favorites is the small samurai guy on top right, the head to right of yor, and the luffy screenshot study on middle. Also like the design of that karate looking guy on bottom left. Back to schoolwork I go. I go from hating my art to liking it so quickly like mood swings. And i tend to like my art more on gartic so ive been doing a ton of gartic, those are the more recent ones.

i havent posted here in ages, but ive still been drawing, and hopefully improving. One big change I've been doing to more of my recent posts is doing less drawings/doodles in one page instead of too many.

imagination doodle, doodles of peoples oc's, mostly from imagination but used ref for design. and a fanart of aki, pose from imagination , referenced for design and clothing. was proud of pose at first for it being without ref but after a day i think i should have done something more interestng with the arms, or maybe just a more dynamic pose in general, idk. it be what it be.
