Shapes n'stuff


Fantasy creature.
So I learned a lot with this guy.
-Pay more attention to the design. Take time to flesh out the ideas until it is a cohesive whole.
-Spend more time on the line work and forms, don't rush the steps. If you do, it will end up looking bland and unfinished (like this.)
-Lasso tool is cool.
-Large forms need some kind of texture or a breakdown with smaller forms, even if it is an area of rest.
-Focus on a linework and drawing approach or a painterly one, don't try both.
Anynoodle, that's all I got so far for this week. Spent too much time going back and forth with that creature redoing things. I'll post the portrait soon.
